NovelAspect’s web portal is “browser agnostic”. This means all major browsers (Internet Explorer, FireFox, Chrome, Safari, Opera) are tested and known to work with our cloud portal.
The most common browser problem is simple to fix – if you’re using a new or recently updated browser, your plug-in settings may need to be updated.
Also, there can be specific quirks of one browser or another than make certain functions easier or more difficult; we encourage our clients to try different browsers and choose the one that works best for them.
Citrix Receiver issues
To access NovelAspect’s portal, you need to have the Citrix Receiver client installed
After Receiver is installed, access to our portal will work from your browser without having to do any other configuration. Browser access is simplest, and is the method that we recommend.
The other access method is to use the “full” receiver application. This requires additional setup. IMPORTANT: when using this method your settings will not automatically update when your applications change, so you will need to occasionally do a manual update. Here’s how to set up and troubleshoot the "full" receiver method.
Many Citrix Receiver problems can be solved with an upgrade (if you are using an older version)
If you are experiencing repeated Receiver errors which are not resolved by upgrading or rebooting, we recommend you contact our tech support. We can help you reinstall and run a cleanup utility that resolves most such issues.
