To see how much your QuickBooks company database (DB) file is fragmented, open the file in QuickBooks and press F2 to open the Product Information screen. Look at the number of DB File Fragments. It is normal to see some file fragments. However, if the number of file fragments is greater than 100 it could indicate your QuickBooks file is badly fragmented
